David Hayter voicing Snake in Smash Bros

Article from Kotaku, I am excited about Snake in Smash Bros Brawl and that they are putting so much work into making the experience as good as possible.

Super_Smash_Bros_Brawl7.jpg Kotakuite and avid YouTube comment reader Hunter, found this little juicy tidbit within the comments on Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter's YouTube page. A few months back, Hayter put together a rather funny video to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Metal Gear Solid and posted it on YouTube.

Fatal Fame on the WII

This article from Kotaku, looks like another Grasshopper Game on the WII (they do make pretty good games).

owmyface-ffsuda51.jpg

What with TGS and a week in Tokyo, this one seemed to slip by me, but hearing it now is very exciting. According to 1Up, Tecmo has hired Grasshopper Manufacture to work on the next Fatal Frame game which will apparently be made for the Wii. Once Grasshopper is done with No More Heroes, they will start full steam on the as yet untitled Fatal Frame.

Smash Bros Update

What is Tourney mode?!

This is a mode that determines which player stands victorious on the summit after winning many battles against many foes!

I won’t go into much detail, so just try it out for yourself. Take advantage of its robust tourney-generating functions!

Of course, if you don’t have a large number of friends, you may not have much need for a tourney.

Still, we’re working seriously to make this mode fun for even those people.

Actually, you can also play this by yourself against computer opponents, so try it out if you’re so inclined.

Smash Bros Update

It’s the Pokémon Trainer’s Final Smash: Triple Finish! It combines the powers of Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard!

screenshot

Any one of them can get the Smash Ball.

screenshot

Go! Triple Finish!

screenshot

It’s super effective!

...So, what is with that text window below?

Squirtle = Hydro Pump
Ivysaur = SolarBeam
Charizard = Fire Blast

These are the moves they use. Isn’t it a beautiful combination? A Fire-type attack, a Water-type attack, and a Grass-type attack? (Not really.)

If an opposing Pokémon gets the Smash Ball, at the very least take care to not be standing immediately beside it.

When you’re particularly close, it hurts. FLEE!

Halo 3 Sells 2.5 Mil on First day!

Let's face it Halo 3 has been overhyped. On Lauch day there was mass chaos anywhere where the game was sold. Millions of cases were sold all across the world and some gamers left their homes for the first time in months. Today GameDaily estimated that on Launch day, Halo sold 2.48 million units. While that is impressive, whats more impressive is that the game also manages to rake in $170 million on that same day. Halo 3 was the largest entertainment release in Human History.

Smash Bros Update

Mr. Resetti

It’s Mr. Resetti from Animal Crossing. At long last he makes his appearance!

screenshot

Th-there he is!!!

I’m just going to come out and say it: when Mr. Resetti appears, all he does is lecture you. Whether you’ve reset the game or not, he just lectures...

Huh? What’s that, Mr. Resetti?

screenshot

Oh! Umm... Sorry about that...

screenshot

Uh... Umm... I suppose you would. My mistake...

With Mr. Resetti, you can enjoy these terribly appreciated lectures even in Smash. He’s an Assist Trophy like no other.

PS2 will keep on selling

Sony's hoping that with the relative failure of the PS3 they can make up or it. Simon Jeffrey a man who works for SEGA says that with all the games on the PS2, people are still buying it. In fact thats true, the PS2 almost always outsells the PS3, and it's cheap. With such a large user base most people have probably played on one. There are even some big name games still coming out for it.

Halo 3 sells $170 million on Day 1

We all know how popular Halo 3 is, and how many people have been wanting it. Estimates said that Halo 3 would sell $150 million on the first day, it did that. But it went over the mark breaking records, it sold $170 million on the first day. Thats better than Spider Man 3. The Halo hype continues to build. Those who weren't sure if they wanted Halo 3 will probably get it, their Friends are probably hyping it up. In related news, September 25th had the top users on Xbox Live, no surprise.

All news Halo

There is very little to talk about today! Too much about Halo. I suspect it will be that way for the next few weeks.

Halo 3 Madness

People have been talking about it a lot lately, the release of Halo. We are going to talk about the madness descending in New York. Thousands of crazy gamers stalked down to their local Best Buy's and GameStops in New York. People on the street were amazed at all the people just trying to get Halo 3. When the games were all gone, gamers were confused, "IS it gone already?" no because right around the corner came a Halo branded Hummer. It was full of Halo 3, the crowds of gamers erupted in happiness. Halo 3 is making a big impact on the world.

LittleBigPlanet Will Sell PS3's

It is the simple game that has been praised by many people. LittleBigPlanet is an amazing game that will appeal to both hardcore and casual gamers. Sony is hoping that LittleBigPlanet will sell PS3's. It is amazing that a download able game is so popular. I have seen LittleBigPlanet and it looks stunning and innovative.

Smash Bros Update

What are trophies? These are solid objects that appear as prizes and offer explanations of characters!

You can check out the poses and learn the background of a variety of characters.

screenshot

Characters in solid form, complete with explanations!

screenshot

You can view them from a variety of angles. Whirrrrrreeee...

You’re going to get a lot of these, so we’ve added images of them to the list to make them easier to identify.

screenshot

You can arrange them by series.

screenshot

And you can line them all up. This can’t be outdoors, can it?

Take a look at these, for example, if you want to learn more about a character you saw in the background in Smash. Or when your interest in a particular character’s back story has been piqued and you want to learn more about them.

Having trophies that explain your characters is quite useful.

And, in a bonus mode, you can even create something like this.

screenshot

Choose several trophies and place them however you like!

screenshot

You can even change the background. It’s all up to you.

Since we’ve gone to the trouble of gathering all these universes together, I hope you’ll enjoy gaining a deeper understanding of these characters. It’s with that intent that we’re all working so hard.
